From high school and college basketball stardom to Olympic gold medalist and member of the Women鈥檚 National Basketball Association (WNBA) Hall of Fame, Chamique Holdsclaw has an inspiring story to share. Her powerful story and example is an inspiration to others dealing with personal struggles to manage mental health issues such as depression. She will talk about her role as an emotional health activist and an athlete when she makes a free, public presentation at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 in Hendricks Hall at the 乐播传媒.

Graduates of two 乐播传媒 certificate programs were recognized at a Sept. 20 ceremony at 乐播传媒鈥檚 Lee鈥檚 Summit campus. Through these programs, adult learners earn industry-recognized certifications and are prepared for careers in the growing healthcare field.

On our premiere episode, we welcome Amber Goreham. Amber is a proud two-time graduate of 乐播传媒, where she has spent the past 20 years dedicated to empowering students and alumni. With a Master of Science in Ethical & Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Amber has been at the forefront of guiding 乐播传媒 students on their career and life paths since 2008. As the director of the 鈦燙areer and Life Design Center鈦�, she leverages life design principles and a commitment to career readiness to help students navigate their next steps and build the skills they need to thrive in today鈥檚 workforce. But Amber鈥檚 journey wasn鈥檛 always centered around academia鈥攕he was once on track to become a professional bowler before life handed her a proverbial gutter ball. Today, we鈥檒l explore how she pivoted from the bowling lanes to a lane focused on shaping lives and careers at 乐播传媒. Listen in as we speak with Amber Goreham.
