Demonstrating the power of philanthropic support, the 乐播传媒 will celebrate Giving Tuesday on Nov. 28 with the rededication of the James C. Kirkpatrick Library (JCKL) at the facility鈥檚 first-floor Read and Relax area. The public is invited to attend the ceremony at noon to hear remarks by university leaders and check out state-of-the-art renovations that include modernized study and collaborative learning spaces, new study nooks, a wellness room, and soft furnishings made possible by the Koch Family Trust.

Making the safety of students, employees and campus visitors a priority, the 乐播传媒 has established multiple initiatives to meet this goal with the help of $326,000 in grant funding since August 2022. The grant-funded projects initiated by the 乐播传媒 Department of Public Safety are made possible by campus, local, state and federal sources, and include traffic safety education and equipment, impaired and hazardous driving enforcement, anti-terrorism equipment, protective equipment for police officers, and interoperable communications equipment.

Military Times, which provides the largest comprehensive annual ranking of higher education institutions for military service members and veterans, has named the 乐播传媒 among its 2023 Best for Vets: Colleges. 乐播传媒 earned the highest overall rankings among all public and private Missouri institutions.

On our premiere episode, we welcome Amber Goreham. Amber is a proud two-time graduate of 乐播传媒, where she has spent the past 20 years dedicated to empowering students and alumni. With a Master of Science in Ethical & Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Amber has been at the forefront of guiding 乐播传媒 students on their career and life paths since 2008. As the director of the 鈦燙areer and Life Design Center鈦�, she leverages life design principles and a commitment to career readiness to help students navigate their next steps and build the skills they need to thrive in today鈥檚 workforce. But Amber鈥檚 journey wasn鈥檛 always centered around academia鈥攕he was once on track to become a professional bowler before life handed her a proverbial gutter ball. Today, we鈥檒l explore how she pivoted from the bowling lanes to a lane focused on shaping lives and careers at 乐播传媒. Listen in as we speak with Amber Goreham.
