ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Scholarship Finder is the University's online system that makes it easy and convenient for students to apply for all ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Alumni Foundation Scholarships established by generous friends of the University. Online application instructions and details about individual scholarships are provided in the . Simply fill out a single application that is automatically submitted toward all eligible scholarships! The application for the 2026-2027 academic year will be available no later than August 15, 2025. Complete your application for scholarships before the priority deadline of Feb. 1, 2026 for your greatest chance of being selected. The scholarship application closes on March 15, 2026.
Awarded to students displaying high academic achievement and leadership qualities for the fall and spring semesters. Students receive up to $1000. The award is directly applied to the student's account for the semester in which it is granted. Graduate Assistants (GAs) are not eligible.
Beginning in 1980, the Warren C. Lovinger Graduate Student Scholarship has been named annually at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. The award is derived from the earned interest of the contributions made to the Warren C. Lovinger Graduate Scholarship Fund by friends and colleagues of Warren C. Lovinger, 10th President of the University. Applicants must have received an undergraduate degree from ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ prior to June 1 of the year the award is granted and must have completed 60 credit hours of undergraduate credit at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. Current graduate students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.75.
Don’t let out-of-state tuition keep you from studying at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. With the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Bound Out-of-State Scholarship, students in the following states will have the non-resident portion of their fees waived at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. These states include the eight states that border Missouri and the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association Conference (MIAA) border states.

Value: 100 % of non-resident fees.
Eligibility: Regularly admitted (not provisionally admitted) undergraduate, and Master's Degree-seeking graduate, students whose permanent legal residence is located in one of the above states AND is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Recipients of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Bound Out-of-State Scholarship may not also receive the Second Generation Grant, Non-Resident Fee Credit, Midwest Student Exchange Program, Non-Resident Scholar Award, non-resident fee portion of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Educational Development Program, or other programs that cover all or partial non-resident fees.
A credit equal to the non-resident portion of tuition fees will appear on the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ account of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Bound Out-of-State Scholarship recipients.
Renewability: Automatically renewed for students who maintain legal residence in one of the above states and aren't recipients of other programs that cover all or partial non-resident fees.
The District Partnership Award covers 20% of tuition for employees of participating school districts pursuing graduate education at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. Eligible employees who are admitted and enrolled at the university may apply the award toward any graduate-level course, graduate certificate program, master's degree or education specialist program. Applicants must provide proof of employment with a participating district. The award applies to tuition only each semester and does not cover mandatory fees.

Most of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ scholarships require full-time enrollment (earning a minimum of 9 (nine) Graduate hours per semester at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½).
Scholarships may be reduced or canceled if the recipient fraudulently misrepresents any information or engages in serious misconduct warranting substantial disciplinary penalty.
If you are the recipient of a scholarships sponsored by a civic organization, employer, church, etc., please instruct the sponsor to make the scholarship check payable to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and forward it to:

Caution: If the scholarship check is made payable only to you, you will need to deposit it to your personal account (or cash it) to use for any educational expenses you may have.
When we receive your scholarship check, we will credit your ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ student account. The amount of the scholarship check will be divided evenly between the Fall and Spring semesters unless otherwise instructed in writing by the scholarship sponsor.
