Our April Student Spotlight features Savanna Lightfoot, an elementary education major.
Her anticipated graduation date is May 2020.
Why did you choose ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½?
I chose ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ because I felt like I was right at home. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ offers so many great opportunities for the students, and I felt like I could really achieve my goals here.
Thoughts about ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½:
Each and every person that works at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is willing to help you get to where you want and need to be. From advisors helping you sign up for classes to professors helping you succeed in your major is what makes ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ such a great college. It is helpful that I have professors that have actually been elementary teachers teaching me how to teach elementary students. This gives me a realistic experience, and I know that I am ready to handle my future students.
