Continuing its winning tradition, students and faculty members in the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½â€™s Gamma Epsilon Delta chapter of the Lambda Alpha Epsilon American Criminal Justice Association recently captured their 19th consecutive Sweepstakes Trophy in competition against some of the nation’s best collegiate criminal justice teams. Individuals who contributed to this history-making achievement were honored in a reception this week at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½.

Three ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students who have served as exemplary part-time employees at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ have been recognized by the Office of Human Resources as the top three honorees in the Student Employee of the Year program with the top award going to a senior from Lee's Summit.

For the first time in history, the presentation of the most prestigious honor given to students at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ has been presented to a married couple. Justin and Emma Cobb both received Charno Awards during a ceremony April 14 in the Elliott Student Union.
