乐播传媒 Theatre and Dance recognized a number of its students and faculty through its annual awards and scholarship dinner during the spring semester on the stage at the James L. Highlander Theatre. 乐播传媒鈥檚 Theta Alpha Phi, National Theatre Honorary Fraternity hosted the banquet with nearly 90 faculty, students, and guests attending the event which took place for the first time since 2019, and featured the presentation of 46 scholarships worth $40,000 awarded.

For approximately 100 years, the 乐播传媒鈥檚 鈥淓ducation for Service鈥� motto has embodied the essence of 乐播传媒, and exemplifies all that the institution does to prepare its students to graduate and enter the world as global citizens. In the spirit of this longstanding commitment, three individuals this spring were named recipients of the first Education for Service Awards.

Through the unique collaboration, qualifying adult learners receive debt-free scholarships from the Full Employment Council, Truman Heartland Community Foundation and Community Services League as well as financial assistance from the healthcare organizations.
