The 乐播传媒 School of Visual and Performing Arts is hosting a public musical presentation about the World War II-era 鈥淰ictory Vertical Piano鈥� program by 2010 乐播传媒 Distinguished Music Alumnus Dr. Garik Pedersen at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 in Hart Recital Hall, located in the Utt Music Building. The public is invited to attend this free event co-sponsored by the 乐播传媒 Department of Music and the 乐播传媒 Speaker Series.

WARRENSBURG, MO -- The 乐播传媒's Computer Information Systems (CIS) program in the Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies on Friday, Oct. 21 will celebrate its 52nd anniversary from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new 乐播传媒-Aureus Artificial Intelligence Lab, located at the Missouri Innovation Campus in Lee's Summit. Members of the campus community and the public are invited to attend the event. University President Roger Best will conduct the ribbon cutting at 2 p.m., and there will be remarks by Abhishek Pakhira, chief operating officer at Aureus Tech Systems.
