Re-Admit
If you have been a degree-seeking student at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ but haven’t enrolled in classes for at least one semester, you must apply for re-admission.
If you left ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ in good standing and want to return, simply complete the application and send in any official transcripts of school work completed in the time since your last enrollment at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. No application fee required! If you aren't sure if you left in good standing give us a call!
If you left ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ due to suspension or dismissal, you must petition for reinstatement. To petition for reinstatement, students should complete an application for readmission to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. Then, the reinstatement petition will be added to your application checklist and can be accessed through your application status portal MyAdmit. You will need to send any official transcripts of school work completed and in progress since your last enrollment at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. For more information on the process, click here.
For the best selection of courses, students should submit a petition in March for summer or fall semester reinstatement and in October for spring semester reinstatement. Petitions will be considered through the following deadlines:
Fall semester: July 15
Spring semester: November 15
Summer semester: April 15
Dual Admission
You are community college student who plans to receive an associate degree and continue on for their bachelor's degree. Dual admitted students will receive advisement from ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ concerning their progression toward degree completion.
Dual admission is designed for community college students who plan to receive an associate degree and continue on for their bachelor's degree. This will make sure you are on the right track for academic planning. Dual admitted students will receive advisement from ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ concerning their progression toward degree completion. An updated degree audit will be made available in MyCentral. Each dual admitted student can receive, if they choose, a ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ ID card providing students with access to athletic events, the library and cultural events.
A student who is admitted to a community college may apply to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ for dual admission
by submitting a completed admissions . We also require proof of community college enrollment. If you have recently enrolled
in your first semester at community college, you can submit your course schedule to
us via e-mail at admit@ucmo.edu. For students with completed community college coursework,
an unofficial transcript can be submitted.
When a dual admit student is a year out from fully transferring to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, he or she
should let the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Office of Admissions know. They can do this by email, phone call
or to the Office of Admissions as a transfer student.
Undergraduate Certificates
You want to gain specialized, career-focused skills or industry credentials without committing to a full four-year degree program.
Undergraduate certificates are short-term, targeted programs designed to help you master a specific subject area, advance in your current job, or pivot to a new career field. These certicates can often be stacked or applied toward a future bachelor's degree at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ if you choose to continue your education later.
You must complete the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Undergraduate application, submit official high school transcripts or official college transcripts from any previously attended institutions, and meet the 2.0 minimum GPA requirement.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
You would like to take a class or two but do not want to pursue a degree.
Visiting College Student: You’re currently attending another college or university, but you want to attend
Central Missouri for a semester and then transfer back to your home institution. You
must apply for admission and submit an unofficial transcript.
Visiting High School Student: You’re currently a high school junior or senior who has permission to enroll in
a limited number of university-level courses. You must apply for admission. Questions?
Missouri residents who are 65 years of age or older may enroll for courses without tuition payment. Persons seeking this scholarship shall provide documentation of age to Central Missouri and satisfy all other necessary entrance requirements including a completed application for admission. This enrollment is for non-credit (audit) purposes.
Enrollment will be allowed no sooner than five days prior to classes beginning and on a space-available basis only. Contact Online Learning and Engagement at 660-543-4984 (Wood 136) for further information.
Post Baccalaureate
You have earned a bachelor's degree and wish to complete another at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½.
Students who wish to obtain a second bachelor’s degree must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent credential from a foreign institution recognized by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. You will apply using the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Application. A $30 application fee will be required. You must meet the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ transfer admission requirements.
